This qualification reflects the role of an individual working as a senior civil works designer or a para-professional designer, who supports professional engineers. They perform tasks that are broad, specialised, complex and technical and include strategic areas and initiating activities. They are responsible for the design of complex projects to ensure the implementation of the client’s site requirements and are required to demonstrate self-directed application of theoretical and technical knowledge and initiate solutions to technical problems or management requirements.

📝Enrolment Fee
An Enrolment Fee of AU$250 (non-tuition fee) is payable at the time of enrolment. This fee applies to all students (Domestic and International).
🏥Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) – International Students Only
International students are required to hold Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) for the entire duration of their student visa.
Tuition Fees
Tuition fees are not fixed for the duration of your enrolment and are reviewed annually. Tuition fees and course duration may vary if the student has applied for advanced standing and has been granted credit transfer (CT).
Resource Fees
Resource fees are a mandatory charge payable to Illoura College and must be paid in advance as part of the course fees.
Material Fees
Material fees apply only to selected courses and are charged where required, based on course-specific requirements.

Successfully completed an AQF Certificate III qualification or higher
Currently studying in Australia and have undertaken at least six months of study at AQF Certificate III level or higher

As part of the pre-enrolment process, students enrolling in Vocational Education and Training (VET) courses may be required to complete a Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital (LLND) assessment. Illoura College uses LLN Robot, an online system that provides Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) testing, course profiling analysis, and learner support identification. If the assessment identifies that a student may need additional support, the college may:
Provide Language, Literacy, Numeracy or Digital support,
Recommend additional learning assistance, or
Advise the student on alternative training options that may be more suitable.
Completing the LLND assessment does not guarantee enrolment, but it helps ensure that students are placed in courses that are appropriate for their skills, abilities, and learning needs.
Qualification Pathway
Pathways for students who have successfully completed the RII60520- Advanced Diploma of Civil Construction Design may seek enrolment in Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or relevant qualification in CRICOS approved higher education provider.
