This qualification reflects the role of individuals in a variety of Business Services job roles. These individuals may have supervisory performance accountabilities.
Individuals in these roles carry out a mix of specialist and moderately complex administrative or operational tasks that require self-development skills. They use well-developed skills and a broad knowledge base to apply solutions to a defined range of unpredictable problems and analyse information from a variety of sources. They may provide leadership and guidance to others with some limited responsibility for the output of others.
Recognition is available upon request for students with prior skills, experience, knowledge, or qualifications obtained from formal studies or training, in a related area. Recognition may reduce the duration of your studies.

High-speed internet is available across the college campus to assist with learning, research, and access to online systems. Computers may be available during scheduled classroom sessions where required. However, Illoura College operates a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) approach. Students are required to bring and maintain their own laptop or computer to complete assessments, coursework, and self-study activities both on and off campus.

- Operating System: Windows 10 (Windows 11 preferred)
- Processor: Intel i3 (8th Generation or higher) or equivalent
- Memory (RAM): Minimum 8 GB
- Software: Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Microsoft Word)
- Internet Access: Ability to connect to reliable internet

Illoura College provides all current students with access to Microsoft 365 applications as part of their enrolment.

Assessment Requirements
The majority of assessment tasks must be completed using a computer and reliable internet access. Students must therefore have consistent access to a suitable device and internet connection to successfully meet course requirements.
