Orientation and Enrolment
Illoura College is committed to providing a smooth, supportive, and compliant enrolment and orientation experience for all students.
Our processes are designed to ensure that both domestic and international students are fully informed, prepared, and supported before commencing their studies.
Orientation Program (Domestic and International Students)
All students are required to attend an orientation session prior to the commencement of classes. The orientation program is designed to help students transition successfully into their studies and understand their academic and support environment.
During orientation, students will receive information on:
- Course structure, timetable, and assessment requirements
- Campus facilities, learning resources, and student systems
- Student support services, including academic and wellbeing support
- Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) requirements
- Attendance and course progress requirements
- Complaints and appeals processes
- Emergency procedures and student safety information
Additional Information for International Students
International students will also receive important information in line with the ESOS Act 2000 and the National Code 2018, including:
- Student visa conditions and work limitations
- Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) requirements
- Maintaining enrolment and academic progress
- Updating contact details and address within required timeframes
- Support services available for international students
Student Rights and Responsibilities
As part of orientation, all students are informed of their rights and obligations, including:
- Maintaining satisfactory course progress and attendance
- Complying with student visa conditions (where applicable)
- Keeping personal details up to date
- Engaging actively in learning and assessment activities
Ongoing Support
Illoura College provides ongoing support to assist students throughout their studies. Students are encouraged to seek assistance whenever required to ensure successful course completion.
Support may include academic assistance, wellbeing support, and referrals to external services where appropriate.

Students must complete enrolment and attend orientation before starting their course. Failure to do so may result in delays to course commencement.
